HARC is a Tennessee-chartered, 501(c)3 non-profit corporation centering on betterment of the social, educational, cultural and recreational life of the neighborhoods contiguous to Highland Street, Memphis, and the University of Memphis from I-240 on the south to Macon Road on the north. .As a non-profit social service entity, HARC seeks a balance of supporting other organizations and carrying out direct initiatives. The Corporation is funded primarily through donations and grants. HARC is headquartered at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Suite 203, 480 S. Highland St., Memphis, TN 38111.
